I can only scream in our own songs. And in between songs. And when I’m in traffic. And a bunch of other times. Just not when performing Nirvana songs.
If you’ve never heard of the Cover Ups, they’re basically another incarnation of Green Day in which they do as the name suggests, play covers. They spent December 19th not far from us in Albany and performed a 26-song set which included the Nirvana classic “Drain You” and while the YouTube comments have been generally positive, some posters point out that it’s near criminal to play that song and exclude the signature scream.
