Tuesday afternoon (Jan. 29) Weezer teased a picture of a smiling Fred Armisen in a car surrounded by recording gear on twitter that read “Today’s driver looks a little familiar… #carpoolkaraoke.” No, this isn’t the band’s new decked out car so they can take montages of them driving. This is a teaser for an upcoming episode of “Carpool Karaoke.”

If you are not familiar with “Carpool Karaoke” it is a recurring segment hosted by James Corden on where he invites famous musical guests to sing along to their songs with him while he is driving around Los Angeles. This may sound completely and utterly boring but with the humor of James Corden and being trapped in a car it leaves you in tears laughing. Past seasons of “Carpool Karaoke” have featured artist Adam Levine, Adele, Paul McCartney, Michael Buble and more.
A spokesperson confirmed that Weezer’s episode will air on an unannounced date in the upcoming third season.
