Mumford & Sons paid tribute to Nine Inch Nails while in Cleveland with a special rendition of their song ‘Hurt’. This is the first time that the band performed this cover and it came just one day after the 25th Anniversary of Nine Inch Nail’s The Downward Spiral.
Mumford & Sons just stopped by Buffalo while touring in support of their fourth album, Delta.
“Our hope is that people enjoy it with us, but we know not always everyone will,” Marcus Mumford told Rolling Stone of the LP in December. “If you try to pander to some audience, you can lead yourself awry. I hope it pushes the boundaries of what people choose to define us as.”
