The Raconteurs Announce North American Tour

The Raconteurs are heading across North America this summer. The Jack White side project will be releasing their first album in 11 years, Help Us Stranger, on June 21.

Their tour will begin on July 12 at the Madonic Temple Theatre in Detroit and end Oct. 18 at the Pageant in St. Louis. They will also be stopping at the Woodstock 50 festival in Watkins Glen, N.Y. on Aug. 16.

Tickets go on sale to the general public April 12 at 10AM local time, with a pre-sale for members of White’s Third Man Records Vault beginning tomorrow at 10AM; another pre-sale for American Express cardholders begins on Wednesday at 10AM. All ticket purchases will include a CD of the new record and fans will be given the option of upgrading to a black vinyl version.

Help Us Stranger is the first new music form the Raconteurs since 2008’s Consolers of the Lonely and their thirst album overall. It includes 11 compositions by White and Brandan Benson, as well as a cover of Donovans’s “Hey Gyp (Dig the Slowness).”
