Cracker is an American alternative rock band featuring Johnny Hickman and Camper Van Beethoven singer and guitarist David Lowery. They are best known for the hit songs "Low," "Eurotrash Girl," "Get Off This" and "Teen Angst (What the World Needs Now)". Their debut album was released in February of 1992 and was titled 'Cracker'. A year later they released their second album, 'Kerosene Hat', and their third, 'Golden Age', premiered in 1996. 'Gentleman's Blues' came out in August of 1998 and their fifth album was released in 2000 titled, 'Garage d'Or'. Two years later Cracker released 'Forever' and a year after that, 'O' Cracker Where Art Thou?'. In the same year, 2003, they released another album titled 'Countrysides' and their most recent album, released in 2006, is titled 'Greenland'. Cracker's Facebook page mentioned on October 10, 2011, that the band would be working on a new album in 2012. As of April 2013, however, not much progress has been made.
