Filter is a rock group formed in 1993 in Cleveland, Ohio by Richard Patrick and guitarist/programmer Brian Liesegang. Their first album, 'Short Bus', was released in 1995 and included the hit single "Hey Man, Nice Shot". Their second album followed in 1999 and was titled 'Title of Record'. 'The Amalgamut' came out in 2002 and their most recent album, 'Anthems for the Damned', was released in 2008. Between their first and second albums, Filter was known for their many soundtrack contributions which fans liked to call 'The Soundtrack EP'. Filter has released six studio albums, the most recent being The Sun Comes Out Tonight, which was released on June 4, 2013.
