Fuel is a rock band formed by guitarist/songwriter Carl Bell and bassist Jeff Abercrombie in 1989. Originally known as Small the Joy, they would change the group's name to Fuel sometime in 1994. Other current members of the group are Toryn Green as the lead vocalist and Tommy Stewart on drums and percussion. They are well known for their hit songs "Shimmer", from Sunburn, "Hemorrhage (In My Hands)" and "Bad Day" from Something Like Human and "Falls on Me" from Natural Selection. In 1994 they self-released 'Small the Joy EP' and during the same year, 'Fuel EP'. In 1996, Fuel released 'Porcelain EP' and two years later the group released 'Hazelton EP' with Epic Records. Still in 1998, the group released the album 'Sunburn' and in 2000, 'Something Like Human' premiered. 'Natural Selection' came out in September of 2003 and in 2005, the band released 'The Best of Fuel' album. Their most recent and ninth album, 'Angels and Devils', was released in August of 2007. On April 8, 2010, the reformation of Fuel was finally confirmed, and the new band website is www.fuelrocks.com.
