Foo Fighters’ Studio 666 Trailer

Music and Movies go hand-in-hand.  Many bands and musicians have cameoed in horror movies, but rarely does a band make and star in their own horror movie.  Following in the bloody footsteps of…well…no one, the Foo Fighters are bringing you Studio 666.

Think, The Shining, but with Dave Grohl in the role of Jack Torrance.  Actually, I’m pretty sure that’s how they pitched the movie to get made.  We’re all in agreement there’s 10-15 Dave Grohls running around the world right?  How did he, or the band for that matter, have time to make a full-length horror flick?

That’s right!  A full-length horror flick.  Not a Thriller-esque, extended video, but a 76-minute blood, rock and gore extravaganza.  It looks fun and from their previous work and videos, we know the Foo Fighters have a pretty good sense of humor, i.e. Dave Grohl as Satan in Tenacious D In The Pick Of Destiny.

Grohl and the gang aren’t alone in this either, they’ve used their rock cred to pull Whitney Cummings, Will Forte, Jeff Garlin, Lionel Richie and Slayer’s Kerry King into Hell as well.

Studio 666 is in theaters February 25th. – Jacka
