The 2026 Abbey Road Music Photography Awards have revealed this year’s finalists, highlighting images of some of the biggest names in music. Organizers said more than 24,500 photographs were submitted from 42 countries for the fifth edition of the competition.
Among the nominated images are photographs featuring Oasis, Charli xcx, Kendrick Lamar, Fontaines D.C., Yungblud, Tame Impala, Florence + The Machine, FKA Twigs, Billy Idol, Amyl and the Sniffers, and Geese. The shortlist spans live performances, portraits, backstage moments, festivals and underground music scenes.
The Music Moment of the Year category includes images of Oasis backstage at Wembley, Kendrick Lamar performing during the Super Bowl Halftime Show and Charli xcx burning the brat flag at Glastonbury. It is the only category decided through a public vote.
Photographer Roberta Bayley will receive the ICON Award, while Masayoshi Sukita will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award. The ceremony is scheduled for September 24, 2026
