BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Sheila Divine will kick off their “The Middle Ages” album‑release shows in Buffalo on May 14 at Electric City, marking the first of four special performances celebrating their new record.
Buffalo gets the honor of hosting the very first album‑release show for The Sheila Divine’s upcoming record, The Middle Ages (out May 22 on Trash Casual). Led by Buffalo native Aaron Perrino, the band returns with ten new tracks that dive deep into grief, parenthood, fractured relationships, and the state of the country — all grounded in Perrino’s signature mix of vulnerability and ferocity.
For decades, Perrino has been known for songs that balance political intensity with everyday frustrations and raw human emotion. This new album continues that legacy, anchored by his declaration:
“I refuse to live in a world where people trade empathy for apathy.”
Buffalo is the first of only four special shows (followed by Boston, Brooklyn, and Brussels), making this a rare chance to hear the new material before the album drops.
They’ll be joined by Endearments (NYC) and dolly sods for a stacked night of alt‑rock and indie energy.
Tickets go on sale Tuesday, February 17th at 10AM at WEDG.com.
