We get a lot of calls about the types of supplies you can use… Here’s a guide:
Paint – If it comes in a can, has pigment, and would be used to paint something… it’s paint.
Cardboard – As in from a box! We allow cardboard piping (similar to the toilet paper roll). As long as its made from paper products, we’ll allow it. It cannot have any modifications to it to make it faster. (other than tape, paint or clue).
Tape – Masking Tape, Duct Tape, Aluminum tape, Electrical Tape, Scot Tape, Clear Tape… If it can be bought at a hardware store and it has the word tape on it… you’re safe! You cannot use vinyl stickers.
Glue – If it has to word glue on the label, you’re safe. If it doesn’t… don’t use it! Glue should be used to bind pieces of your racer together…
